Istation, an award-winning comprehensive e-learning program, today announced that it was named a finalist for the 2016 SIIA CODiE Awards in two categories: Best Student Assessment Solution and Best Pre-K/Early Childhood Learning Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries and have been recognizing product excellence for over 30 years. The awards offer 91 categories that are organized by industry focus of education technology and business technology.

Istation was named as one of the 160 finalists across 29 education technology categories.

Winners will be announced during a virtual award ceremony on May 18. The top honor of best overall educational product will be presented at the Education Industry Symposium, the nation’s leading education technology conference, in Denver July 26. The announcement will take place during a special celebration party and dinner.

“We are honored to be considered by SIIA for each of these prestigious awards. Istation values SIIA’s mission to inform and protect public interest in relation to educational technology options. We continue to work diligently to produce programs, content, and curriculum that will enrich and empower educators and students,” said Richard Collins, Istation Chairman and CEO.

With Istation, students are immersed in lessons cleverly disguised through the use of animation and game-like interactions. Istation blends explicit, direct and systematic instruction with pure, unintimidating fun, perfect for both early and advanced learners.

Istation’s Indicators of Progress (ISIP™) assessments are computer adaptive and provide reliable data with frequent, age-appropriate measurements for students in pre-K through 8th grade. Istation’s adaptive curriculum adjusts to each student’s ability, creating a personalized learning path based on his or her actual ability level. ISIP assessments also generate reports for teachers that pinpoint exactly where each student has room to grow and provide educators with the necessary data to construct individual measurable goals for students.
