DALLAS, October 19, 2016 (Marketwired) — Istation received three 2016 EDDIE Awards from The ComputED Gazette. Istation Math earned its first Eddie this year, while Istation Reading continues what is now a three-year winning streak. Istation's reading and math instructional programs garnered awards in the Early Elementary Reading and Multi-Level categories. Istation's third Eddie was in recognition of its Early Reading instructional program in the Early Learning Category.
The EDDIE Awards target innovative and content-rich programs and websites that augment classroom curriculum and improve teacher productivity, providing parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence. Entrants are judged on academic content, potential for broad classroom use, technical merit, subject approach and management system.

The Gazette's review of Istation describes how the software's “[l]ively and colorful cartoon characters and animations” guide students in a game-like setting in which they “encounter lessons that promote various reading skills, from phonemic awareness to vocabulary, spelling, and more.”
Another point of recognition for Istation's Eddie wins was its comprehensive reports and ability to adapt to all types of students. According to The Gazette's review, “[t]he reports are impressive, and include charts and graphs such as Summary, Skill Growth, Skill Growth by Tier, Tier Movement, Distribution, Lexile Trend, Rate of Improvement, and more. In April, Istation Reading won The Gazette's BESSIE (Best Educational Software) Awards for the fourth year in a row.
